My favorite character is Ali, because she refuses to conform to the high school groups. Ali does not gossip about others nor does she make fun of them. I believe others start rumors about her and her morals because of this. Ali is my favorite character because she does not judge others even though they make up rumors about her.

So far the book is about a boy named Torey, who is trying to figure out what really happened to Christopher Creed. At first everyone believed that Chris might have ran away or commited suicide, but later on a group of Tory’s friends make predictions on what if someone killed Chris. Throught out the story Chris trys to gather information on what has really happened.

In Crank the main character, Kristina, is the most interesting so far. Kristina is a timid girl who took a summer trip to stay with her father for 3 weeks. She is so interesting because soon after landing in Albuquerque to live with her father she becomes addicted to crank and begins to live her life under a new alias, Bree.

In “The Things They Carried,” I think my favorite character is Dave Jensen. That is hard to say though because the book does not spend much time on individual characters, it jumps around a lot. I believe that i like Jensen the best because he won the fight he had and then ended up feeling paranoid that he would be hurt as revenge. Eventually he broke his own nose to try and even things out with him. And i thought it was cool that the two eventually became friends until Jensen’s new friend was killed a couple of days later.
