This is the WHS Lit Circles blog.  This was created due to a grant from the Sioux Falls School District Education Foundation in 2006.  Alison Halgerson and Kerri Smith created a grant to buy sets of new fiction books that would be of interest to teens.  The sets of books were to be used for Modern Literature and to start a library book club.  Technology was integrated by having students blog about their books.  We hope this helps students by linking them to quality literature that appeals to their interests and by strengthening their use of technology.
